The Club

INTRODUCTION

Formerly Ascot Park Polo Club, Westcroft was officially taken over by Richard Blake Thomas in 2015. Passionate about horses and polo, and knowing how important Ascot Park Polo Club had historically been to the polo community in bringing on new players, Richard was determined to bring the club back to life.

Carrying on with its tradition of developing polo at the grass roots level, Richard built a thriving polo school while also breeding and training strings of high-performance playing ponies.

Prior to taking over Westcroft Park Polo Club, Richard was a professional on the low and medium goal circuits. Later in his career, he began focusing on breeding and training polo ponies for the medium and high goal.

Facilities

what we have

Spread over 120 acres of beautiful countryside, Westcroft Park Polo Club boasts an array of facilities designed with polo in mind.

Our two full size, fully boarded polo fields are the stars of the club. Sanded and verti-drained seasonally, the fields benefit from yearly investments that maintain and improve their condition.

We pride ourselves on the quality of polo that the fields are able to offer.

All of our facilities are available for hire, whether for spectacular bespoke events or for private polo tournaments. We can completely tailor what we offer to your requirements, ranging from arranging a full tournament, all the way down to just providing the location.
